Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

Our Science class practiced CONSERVATION last week.  We used materials from other products and REUSED them to make something new.  Most of the items we used were NONRENEWABLE RESOURCES - resources that are NOT easily replaced.  By reusing the materials, we were able to conserve resources and also practice our creativity!

Pablo and Will - Used a recycled water bottle, mesh, rocks and soil, plants, and water to make a fish tank.

Lance and Jordan - used old Red Bull and Big Red cans, with duct tape, to make "Big Bull", a key holder for all those ladies who can never find their keys (like Miss Rogers!)

Dymond and Ashley - used a large Gatorade bottle, duct tape, sand, and water to make a time keeper to use while brushing your teeth.

Matthew and Jaxsen, used mainly old bottles, cans, and duct tape to make a 2 in 1 Rocket and Cup holder.

Damarione and Joey - used an old milk bottle, duct tape, baby food jar, and rocks to make a Baby Shaker/Food bottle.  1st Place!!!

Yamilet and Briana - used foil, paper plates, and tape to make a recycled doggy bowl.

William and Diego - used an old cereal box to make a "Scooper Trooper"

Kyla and Devon - used an old bottle and sand to make an hour glass.

Nice work, inventors!
